Carpatica
Florentina Petrescu is the wonderful owner of this award winning restaurant and of a Romanian shop located in London. Despite the many hardships before settling in London, she first opened up her shop - Carpatica - in November of 2014 in order to bring familiarity to her family and the Romanian community after witnessing a distancing from the culture from her own daughter and others around her alike. The restaurant is equipped for private events and has even welcomed many loved Romanian artists as well as hosted charity events in order to help people in their community and aided people through the pandemic as well as the Ukrainian war. After 9 years of work, the restaurant was nominated at England’s Business Awards 2024 for the Best Restaurant of West London, which they won and have now entered the national finals which is to take place on 17th November 2024.
